These staged “dead body” dramas by the opposition are not new. The moment they think cameras are off, the “martyr” suddenly needs water and fresh air. It’s pure theatre to manufacture sympathy and grab media TRP, while real issues of Bengal — illegal immigration, lawlessness, unemployment and industrial decline — remain unaddressed.
BJP doesn’t need to stage deaths. We deliver real work: record infrastructure, direct benefit transfers reaching the poorest, toilets, electricity, gas connections, and a decisive fight against corruption and syndicate raj. People of Bengal have seen enough of this cheap drama. They want Vikas, not Vilap.

The selective outrage is glaring. When dozens of policemen get injured trying to maintain order during chaotic protests, the same voices that amplify every other injury suddenly go silent.
Exam paper leaks and irregularities are legitimate concerns that deserve accountability and transparency. Peaceful protest is a right. But when marches turn violent and target those enforcing the law, injuries on both sides happen — and pretending only one side matters is dishonest.
Facts over narratives. Violence solves nothing and undermines the very cause people claim to fight for.

The Jantar Mantar protests around Sonam Wangchuk’s hunger strike and the so-called “Cockroach Janta Party”/CJP mobilization are clearly not an organic student uprising. Kejriwal’s AAP and left parties (with SFI involvement) have equal skin in the game — coordination, ground mobilization, and funding that keeps these agitations alive even when they are electorally weak.
Legitimate concerns over exam paper leaks in NEET and other tests deserve serious investigation and systemic fixes (which the government has been pursuing through arrests, probes, and pushing for more transparent, tech-driven systems). But turning students into political cannon fodder to demand the Education Minister’s resignation and disrupt normal life is the same old opposition tactic we’ve seen for years.
The images you shared say it all: left veterans openly backing the protests one moment and appearing at the Chinese Embassy the next. In a country facing real border and security challenges with China, this kind of optics is deeply troubling. Add to that the paid influencer campaigns pushing the same narrative and it becomes obvious this is a well-funded, coordinated political campaign dressed up as student concern.
Genuine support for India’s youth means focusing on studies, merit, and long-term reforms like the National Education Policy — not endless street protests that keep them away from classrooms and play into disruption politics. BJP’s approach has always been institution-building and development over manufactured outrage. The youth deserve accountability through proper channels, not being used as pawns in someone else’s anti-incumbency game.

Supriya ji, the Delimitation Bill is set to be introduced in the upcoming Monsoon Session as a revised version. Instead of waiting to see the actual text and then engaging, the opposition seems more comfortable creating controversy even before details are out.
The reality is simple: After decades of a temporary freeze (based on 1971/2001 data), India’s population has changed dramatically. Northern states have grown faster. True democracy means one person, one vote — updating constituencies to reflect current realities, not protecting outdated seat allocations forever.
The revised proposal expands total Lok Sabha seats significantly (around 50% increase to ~816). This ensures:
• No state loses any seats
• Southern states actually gain more MPs in absolute numbers
• Their overall share remains protected (~24%)
As Home Minister Amit Shah has clarified, southern MPs will rise substantially (e.g., from current levels to much higher). This strengthens representation for everyone instead of creating winners and losers.
BJP believes in updating systems for 21st-century India — fair delimitation based on latest data, while protecting federal balance. Opposition’s hesitation looks more like political positioning than concern for democracy. Let’s debate the bill on merits once tabled, not block progress before it even arrives.

Sonam Wangchuk was admitted to hospital today after 20 days of fasting — protesting in solidarity with the Gen Z-led Cockroach Janta Party movement.
I respect the man. His work in Ladakh education is real.
But this is what I want to ask:
He fasted in 2023 — for Ladakh statehood. Government didn’t respond to his satisfaction.
He fasted again in 2024 — same demand. Same result.
Now in 2026 — fasting again. In hospital.
A hunger strike is not a strategy. It’s a cry for attention.
If Wangchuk truly cares about Ladakh — he should contest elections, build coalitions, work within democracy.
India has a Parliament. Use it. 🇮🇳

TMC cried “EVM tampered” after losing Bengal.
Supreme Court of India in May 2026 said: the Special Intensive Revision of voter rolls was LEGAL. EC acted within its mandate.
The same party that captured booths in 2021. That deleted 2.7 million voters from rolls. That threatened women at polling booths in Falta — where a full repoll was ordered because TMC workers tampered with EVMs — is now screaming about election integrity.
Supreme Court answered. 207 seats answered. 77% voter turnout answered.
Some people still won’t accept it.
Democracy doesn’t need their acceptance. It already happened. 🪷🇮🇳

CBI told a Delhi court that the 2026 NEET paper leak affected 22 lakh students, led to the exam’s cancellation, and caused an estimated ₹600 crore loss to the exchequer.
The mastermind is reportedly arrested. But the NETWORK behind it — the people who sold papers at ₹2 lakh each — spans multiple states.
This isn’t just corruption. This is organised crime against India’s youth.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: whoever did this — party, connections, influence — doesn’t matter.

The so-called “ecosystem” is not upset because justice or humanity was violated — they are upset because their script was disrupted. They were hoping Sonam Wangchuk’s health would deteriorate further so they could manufacture another “martyr” narrative, create chaos on the streets, and revive their dead politics.
Delhi Police did exactly what a responsible government and judiciary should do: they acted on the Delhi High Court’s orders and medical advice to shift him to Safdarjung Hospital for essential care. Saving a citizen’s life is not “suppression” — it is the basic duty of the state.
Kejriwal and his ecosystem are the saddest today because their plan to turn a legitimate protest into a national crisis and political revival vehicle has failed. The people of India have seen this drama too many times. We support the right to peaceful protest, but we also support the rule of law and the protection of human life.
This is what mature governance looks like. Not politics of death and anarchy, but politics of responsibility.

On 17 July 2026, the cricketing world lost one of its brightest lights when Sir Garfield St Aubrun Sobers — known to millions simply as Garry or Gary — passed away at the age of 89 in his beloved Barbados. He was not merely a great player; he was the complete embodiment of what it means to be an all-round cricketer. In an era when specialisation was beginning to take hold, Sobers stood as a glorious exception — a man who could do everything, and do it with elegance, power, and joy.
Born in Bridgetown on 28 July 1936, young Garfield showed early signs of extraordinary talent. He made his first-class debut for Barbados at just 16 and his Test debut for the West Indies at 17. From those earliest days, it was clear that something rare had arrived on the world stage.
His defining moment came in February 1958 at Sabina Park, Kingston. At the age of 21, in only his ninth Test match, Sobers turned his maiden Test century into an unbeaten 365 against Pakistan — a score that shattered Len Hutton’s long-standing world record of 364 and stood for 36 years until Brian Lara surpassed it. He batted for more than ten hours with 38 fours and not a single six, displaying a maturity and concentration that belied his youth. That innings announced him not just as a prodigy, but as a batsman of the very highest class.
Yet batting was only one chapter of his story. Sobers was a genuine five-in-one cricketer. He batted left-handed with classical beauty and fearless aggression. He could bowl left-arm fast-medium with late swing and pace, left-arm orthodox spin with guile and flight, and even wrist spin when the situation demanded. He was a brilliant fielder anywhere on the park — quick, safe, and athletic. Don Bradman, never one for exaggeration, called him “the greatest all-round cricketer I ever saw.” Richie Benaud and countless others echoed the sentiment.
In 1968, playing for Nottinghamshire against Glamorgan at Swansea, Sobers wrote another unforgettable page in cricket history. He became the first man to hit six sixes in a single over — an over bowled by Malcolm Nash that will live forever in the game’s folklore. Four balls sailed cleanly out of the ground; the fifth was controversially signalled six after a boundary catch; the sixth disappeared over the East Terrace. It was not showmanship for its own sake — it was simply Sobers being Sobers: supremely gifted, instinctively attacking, and utterly fearless.
As captain of the West Indies from 1965 to 1972, he led with quiet authority and tactical acumen. Under his leadership, the team secured memorable series victories, including their first-ever series win against Australia. He carried the hopes of a region still finding its post-colonial voice, and he carried them with dignity and pride.
Beyond the numbers — 8,032 Test runs at 57.78, 235 wickets, 26 centuries — lay something even more precious: humility, warmth, and a deep love for the game and the people who played it. He was knighted in 1975 and later named a National Hero of Barbados. Generations of cricketers, from Sachin Tendulkar to modern stars, have spoken of his generosity and the quiet wisdom he shared.
Sir Garry Sobers did not just play cricket; he elevated it. He showed that one man could dominate with bat, ball, and in the field. He bridged eras — from the three Ws to the modern game — and proved that true greatness lies in versatility, courage, and joy.
As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life lived fully in service of the game he loved. The Caribbean has lost a son, cricket has lost its ultimate all-rounder, and the world has lost a gentleman whose deeds will echo as long as the game is played.

The demand for PM @narendramodi’s resignation over NEET leaks is pure political opportunism, not concern for students.
Leaks are unacceptable and the government has already handed over investigations to CBI and other agencies for swift action — unlike the decades of unchecked paper leaks, coaching mafias and capitation fee rackets that flourished under previous governments.
NEET was introduced precisely to end that corruption and give a level playing field to meritorious students from every background, including poor and rural families. The same opposition that once opposed NEET tooth and nail is now weaponising student pain for votes.
Tragic student distress and suicides are heartbreaking. Real solutions lie in expanding medical seats (which this government has done at record pace), new AIIMS, mental health support and deeper reforms — not street politics that shifts goalposts from “fix the exam” to “Modi must resign”.
That shift itself exposes the agenda. True supporters of students and India stand for accountability through institutions and continued nation-building, not engineered instability.

Delhi Police acted with full professionalism and strictly followed the Delhi High Court order to shift Sonam Wangchuk to Safdarjung Hospital on medical grounds after his 21-day hunger strike. He had given written consent for the move.
Video evidence is crystal clear — not a single police officer carried or used a lathi. Claims of “lathi charge”, “kidnapping” or “assault” by the opposition and CJP supporters are deliberate lies meant to spread chaos and mislead people.
A genuine well-wisher would welcome timely medical care to protect life instead of turning it into political drama. Peaceful protest is every citizen’s right, but obstructing court orders and endangering health for optics is not protest — it’s irresponsible politics.
Delhi Police showed restraint and upheld the rule of law. This is real governance — protecting citizens while respecting the Constitution.
