This DRM solution was almost apart of the PS4 generation but Sony pulled out of doing this last minute because Microsoft implemented first and they wanted to seem gamer friendly

Often times playing a game on PC requires manual settings, and compromises to achieve the desired look and feel of your favorite game.

On console these problems are much less prevalent, because games are designed around a certain standard
