God is saying to you today, I am about to restore everything the past few years took from you. The peace, the joy, the confidence. What was stolen is coming back multiplied. Get ready to receive.
I came across Romans 8:18 today, and it was exactly what I needed to read. Life brings challenges, heartbreak, delays, and moments that make us question what God is doing. But one thing I’ve learned is that God doesn’t make mistakes. Even when we can’t see the bigger picture, He is still working behind the scenes for our good. The struggles you’re facing today are not the end of your story. Hold on. Keep trusting. Keep praying. The pain you’ve been carrying won’t compare to the joy, healing, blessings, and peace God has waiting for you on the other side of this season.
Think about Job. He lost things he never imagined he would lose. The life he knew was gone, his heart was broken, and the future looked nothing like he thought it would. There were days when nothing made sense, the pain was heavy, questions endless, and heaven’s silence overwhelming. Yet through it all, God never left him. Even when Job couldn’t see God’s hand, God was still working and writing a story that wasn’t finished. God didn’t forget Job, abandon him, or leave him stuck in suffering forever. In time, God restored what was lost and blessed him beyond what he could imagine—not because Job was perfect, but because God is faithful.
If you’re grieving something, waiting on something, or trying to understand why life unfolded as it did, take heart. The same God who carried Job through his hardest days is carrying you. Just because you don’t understand the process doesn’t mean God isn’t working behind the scenes. Your story isn’t over. Your prayers haven’t been ignored. Your tears haven’t been wasted. Keep trusting God. One day you’ll look back and realize He was holding you together the entire time.
Let’s pray:
Heavenly Father, Lord,
Bring me back into agreement with Your Spirit in love. Let everything in me align again with the heart of Christ. Where I have wandered, call me back with kindness. Where I have resisted, soften me.
When the enemy whispers wrong thoughts, I say no in Jesus’ name. By Your grace, I will not return evil for evil. I will replace hatred with mercy, shame with truth, and fear with love.
Holy Spirit, convict me gently and grow me deeply. Prune what is not of You and make more room in me for love. Let me be rooted and grounded in love so that everything I do, believe, and hope for comes from You.
Increase in me, Lord. Let Your love increase in me.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Dear Lord,
Today, help me stop treating discipline like punishment. I asked for better, so help me live like I meant it. Let me keep one promise to myself before I chase ten new plans. Put sense in my yes, backbone in my no, and joy in the work nobody claps for. If laziness tries to bargain with my future, end it. In Jesus’ name. Amen🙏🏽.
God is saying to you today: You have held on during some of the toughest times in your life. I gave you the wisdom and strength to endure when you didn't think you would make it. When things changed for you, many people left you and wrote you off. But not only did you make it through the storm, you grew in the storm. I am going to bless your faithfulness. I am about to lift you to a level you've never been before.
Dear Lord,
Today, send me into this day with my head up and my heart awake. Let me notice the good before I walk past it. Put my feet near the right door and my name near the right yes. Keep my mouth from canceling what my faith is building. I’m not begging this day to be kind; I’m walking in knowing You are ahead of me and I cannot fail. In Jesus’ name. Amen🙏🏽
God is saying to you today: I want you to know that I am the God of divine order. I will place you at the right place at the right time. You will meet the right people and do the right things. This means I can and will open doors of opportunity for you. Whatever you need, I know where you can get it and from whom. Trust me.
Dear Lord,
Today, help me not miss the good because I’m busy studying what went wrong. Put my eyes back on what’s still possible. Let me enjoy the little wins without acting like they don’t count. Send something this week that makes me pause and say, “Okay God, I see You.” And when it happens, don’t let me be so distracted by it that I forget to thank You. In Jesus’ name. Amen🙏🏽
