Centerline rumble strips (CLRS) save lives, but their strength only holds up when there’s a strong pavement foundation beneath them. New research shows reinforcing the joint area with preservation treatments like Void Reducing Asphalt Membrane (VRAM) and Rapid Penetrating Emulsion (RPE) can improve CLRS durability, reduce maintenance and support roadway‑departure safety goals. https://t.co/XCKB4owwh2
