Last week, our team headed by Head of Programs Edward Mwebaze engaged local humanitarian actors & refugee led organisations in West Nile & Southwest to guide them identify research topics that will inform Oxfam's research on local humanitarian agenda and advocacy.

3/3 Participants were encouraged to take leadership positions within their localities and be ambassadors of peace, seek psychosocial support whenever needed, and note their contributions to their families or communities.
1/3 CECI Uganda trained 60 women and girls on gender transformative leadership, human rights, and peace-building in Bidibidi Refugee Settlement from July 25-26 to encourage more refugee and host women to step up and take leadership roles at various levels in their communities.
2/3 The training covered mental health and psychosocial support, mindset change, human rights and rights of women, gender transformative leadership, and women and peace-building.
