Even when all of American culture is theoretically slowing down for a day of thanksgiving, it's hard to maintain a posture of gratitude that lasts much longer than a turkey dinner and a football game (1/2).
For decades, our day of gratitude has been followed by the consumeristic frenzy of Black Friday....That is one option this season holds forth. But we can do something else. We can be people who flip stones looking for gratitude. Link in comments.
