The final day of our final harvest at Cedar Falls Hops. After much consideration we have decided that this will be the last season for us to grow hops. We are very grateful for the friends, family and community who have supported us.
Today's winter #solstice marks the turning point where days start to get longer. While not as important for #hops, it is the gentle reminder that our next growing season will be here before we know it.
The longest day of the year, the summer solstice, is a key point in the hops season. We want our plants at the top of their string so they can begin to flower. These Mackinac are looking good!
Save a virtual seat and join us this Thursday at 11 am to learn about hops in the home garden and craft beer from the @smithsonian team! https://t.co/PPwyTBfgbE
