CPYC ODR !!! Part 1 of this summer's One Design Regatta is being held this weekend, with classes J70, J88, J105, J109 and Beneteau First 36.7. The second event, on September 28-29, will be open to Thistles, Flying Scots, Lightnings, Aeros, Wazps, Lasers, and possibly others.

CPYC has won the 2018 National One-Design Award from US Sailing, the sport’s national governing body. Commodore Karpel accepted the award, saying: “This is truly a testament to all of CPYC’s outstanding member volunteers.”
CPYC’s Ben Craine was awarded the Clinton Bell trophy at the JSA LIS Annual Meeting for highest performance among all junior sailors in Laser, Radial or 420’s. He’s the first winner of the Bell trophy having won all four of the qualifying regattas since estabilished in 1950.
CPYC's Ched and Charlie Proctor and Meredith Killion won this year's Lightning North Americans in San Diego. You can now call him "5 Time" with his 5th NAs victory and 1st since 2011. Josh Goldman with Stephanie Swann and Sarah Paisley also had a good showing with an 18th.
