While I think you get your money’s worth most of the time with AEW PPV’s (Redemption is AI), it’s an OUTDATED media format and Tony should fully switch them to a 100% streaming service. Like instead of simulcast on HBO Max I can just watch the show if I have a HBO Max subscription. I guarantee of your fanbase will pay for a Max subscription to watch the ppv instead of buying the subscription + pay $30-50 for the show. If not HBO Max then if for example I have a Prime Video subscription I can watch the AEW PPV’s that get included in the subscription.

At his age he shouldn’t be going still at this high level but he does for the love of the game week in and week out.
There’s a lot of other wrestlers this year who almost make the case for WOTY for me but it’s just the fact that Punk is consistently going at this level at his current age still and isn’t slowing down at least not anytime soon makes him the literal “Best in The World” for 2026. Also what he has done for both the Raw and Smackdown main event scenes is straight up GOAT STATUS SHIT.
