Intakes are down; killings are up.

ACC killed 3,235 cats and dogs last year.

The dog LRR hit a 10-yr low. Fewer than 3 in 4 made it out alive; for cats it was nearly 1 in 5 killed.

Not once in 10 years did the combined live release rate approach 90 percent. Much less a true NK percentage.

Miami-Dade shelter gave poor Casper to Erika López to foster. She used a shock collar on him, beat him, let him off leash and he had an incident on the beach. Now she's threatening to kill him or dump him back at the shelter.
