Decided to spend my Friday night scrolling thru the vast sea of OMB grails. Below is a thread of 3 OMBs that caught my eyes with each of them inspired by IRL events and people!
Here are my interpretations:

@OrdinalMaxiBiz
Having known @ZK_shark throughout his journey in Solana and with Degods.
We had a couple small exchanges and from those interactions I knew the brother was a smart mfer.
When I saw him get deep in ordinals and talking about it, I started to keep tabs on the space and learn more about it.
I then forced myself to inscribe, transfer and collect ordinals in what was a rapidly growing and changing ecosystem.
I had learnt more about Bitcoin than I ever did previously. Concepts such as UTXO management, reading the mempool, understanding sats and how to maintain self custody of my assets on Bitcoin.
As the ordinal space evolved and more had been developed.
Zk then hinted that he maybe launching his own collection @OrdinalMaxiBiz with @ohareyoufat as the artist. Having seen Tony’s work on solana also, I made it my goal that this will be the one I couldn’t miss out on.
I continued to grow within ordinals and followed the developments of OMB.
I had positioned myself to have every chance of getting in.
Come launch day, I had not won WL for the mint but I was really determined to land one on public launch. There was no maybe, ifs or buts.
As they were released,l for public, the prices ranged from 0.2 up to 0.269 (correct me if I’m wrong). I then saw all the @MagicEden spinning purple circles start to pop up. Grails were being picked up left, right and Centre. I started to panic and FOMO started to build up. I didn’t want to miss out so i just chose one.
Not knowing what I had or what it represented. I was just feeling the adrenaline of being able to grab one. The purple wheel circle started spinning, I then took a look at the piece properly, realised it only had 1 eye and so happened to be a Whale figure.
As it has been exactly 12 months since the @OrdinalMaxiBiz launch and the landscape has developed so much. I take some time to reflect on my journey I have had and am so grateful to be apart of Bitcoin history.
That is Ordinals and OMB.
“The Bitcoin Whale”
The @Wilder_Global collection has been done for 6+ months now.
But we have not dropped the collection.
Here’s why:
- we want this to add value to our community and not extract.
- a traditional PFP mint is treated like a never ending debt to the holders. we are part of the problem with our past messaging. we want to help change that, not reinforce the problem
- we’re tired of the PFP meta setting unrealistic expectations and creating never ending pricey mints. reference @KEMOS4BE and @litexo writing on this topic
- we all have been working for free and paying costs out of pocket. whatever we do needs to be exciting to our team, otherwise we won’t do a good job.
The mission is creating cool product experiences. Stay tuned

Not all satoshis are created equal, a market for unique sats has emerged.
Ordinal theory creator @rodarmor introduced a compelling method for identifying unique satoshis. This classification has become popularly known as the "Rodarmor Rarity Index."
Outside the Rodarmor Index, other unique sats hold value, often associated with significant events in Bitcoin’s history.
Block 9 sats is an example. Originating from the first-ever Bitcoin block mined by Satoshi Nakamoto in 2009.
@OrdinalMaxiBiz Green eyes was one of the first Bitcoin Ordinal collections to be inscribed on Block 9 sats.
Do you want to learn more about rare sats and Block 9 significance with OMB?
This video will go through:
- What are Rare Sats?
- Categories of Rare Sats
- Unique Sats and Block 9
- OMB and Block 9 Sats
