For me, it’s a C. They have a chance to get it too a B. Here’s my thoughts:
They haven’t maximized their value thru 3 rounds, but when have they ever done that? They’ve drafted 3 guys with starting capability and took 2 swings (Stewart and Fairchild) on huge upsides, especially in the passing game.
Stewart wins with power and can play in several alignments, but needs to learn how to finish and develop a better pass rush plan. Fairchild sets a firm pocket, keeps his head on a swivel, and can recover. He will look like an all-pro compared to what they have.
The knock on Knight is age, but he has a good feel for where he is, a strong tackler, and good instincts. It’s not a burnt pick, but I would’ve preferred someone else here. However, let’s skew positive:
They’re all Bengals now.
