Freedom to Speak Up Month 2020!
B is for Barriers ๐ง
We all have to understand the different barriers that prevent our staff from speaking up and break them down
Staff should never be in fear of speaking up!

@Dochayter @YouTube @RoyalLondonHosp I remember that uniform still the same in 1986! First thing we did was to get measured. Sam and Ollie were born there as well.
@CNOEngland Iโm concerned abt where all this NHS charity money will go. Need to make sure it is fair and equitable and not just those seen by just a few. All in it together. One NHS family - from all aspects ๐
Strange things that make you smile . Opened my ppe pack at first patients home and have got purple gloves to wear . Small things but looking for positives wherever I can . Thank you to those packing them for us @HRCH_NHS
We get a lot of questions about PPE from hospital colleagues. Here are our pragmatic views on one page @StGeorgesTrust @CotterMeaghan@dublinensis#COVID19#PPE
We must look after each other & ourselves during this pandemic. #BeKind & thank you to all those in the frontline& behind the scenes doing so much to care for those with Covid19 2/2
Today @PHE_uk published updated personal protective equipment (PPE) guidance for NHS staff. It recommends the safest level of PPE to protect #OurNHSPeople and specifies the type of PPE that should be worn in different healthcare settings. https://t.co/UGUp2rS2bT
If over the last 72 hrs community health and social care services have supported hospital discharges equivalent to the occupancy of 54 general hospitals, then surely this is has to be a wake up call nationally to seriously make that left shift out of acute into our communities
@Sam_Meikle@annamh68 @lamb_donna Such a privilege to be part of this work #AlwaysEvents a great team listening to what really matters to the patients and their families
Itโs been brilliant working with the HRCH teams on #AlwaysEvents. @annamh68@Cejordan40 @lamb_donna
Our main learning is to find the little things that can make peopleโs days and lives better.
Very grateful to everyone who shared their experiences to keep improving care.
