Sometimes I think I'm bad at my job as an instructional tech coach when people are like, "How can I integrate technology into this activity more?" and I'm just like, "Maybe don't?"
Tech opens some really cool doors, but not all of those doors benefit focus or learning.
Stir up curiosity and conversation with a "Baffling Blur." Blur parts of an image and invite students to make educated guesses about what has been blurred. 🧐 Keep the original image handy so you can reveal it.

A show like “Shark Tank,” but instead of investors there are 5 teachers from different grades, subjects and backgrounds. And people are pitching the “newest” ED tech and teaching strategies, and the teachers have to agree if it is worth the time and money.
One common happiness stumbling block? Making a tough decision. To decide between apples and oranges, to weigh pros and cons…it’s difficult.

I’ve always struggled with how to close up my time with my seniors, and I think I found something I like this year: an invitation to let me treat them to a coffee and catch up whenever (and if) they want.
