@mrscaew I think that any influence, leadership etc will have to come from them rather than from me as their mom. If I've done a good job at paideia then any impact they do have will be good, hopefully

@mrscaew I guess I'm not sure what you mean by cultural impact then? I read that as preparing children for a leadership role, politics, entrepreneurship, etc. I believe in "paideia" and my primary goal is for my kids is for them to lead lives that are good for their souls

@owroot I'd compare having your first kid to those entry level positions in which you don't get much respect but are actually doing the brunt of the work. Having a pile of kids you homeschool+contributing to homeschool communities feels like a managerial role
