Today is School Librarian Appreciation Day, and we want to celebrate our phenomenal library media specialists! The role of a school librarian has truly evolved. It's not just about books; it's about innovation, exploration, and digital literacy. Along with helping students check out books and teaching them about research tools, library media specialists manage multimedia and create maker spaces. We thank our library media specialists for all that they do for students!

Our Pre-K finished their All About Me theme by celebrating uniqueness! They talked about their favorite things, such as their favorite colors, fruit, and ice cream! They also dressed like the character they read about in Marisol McDonald Doesn’t Match!

Today is the first day back for teachers and campus staff! All campuses were met with cheers and 👏 from over 300 First Baptist Rockwall serve committee members. Thanks to Board Secretary Dr. Sherry Packer & Joy Mooneyham for this initiative and PTO/PTA presidents for their help.
