We have been asked by our rescuer if we can help this poor older girl💔

Sadly her owner died and the son has tied her up outside and won’t let her back in the house - she is approx 9 and now when she should be enjoying comfort in her older years, she is not only grieving her owner, but has now been tied up outside on a chain😡💔

The amount of cries for help we are getting lately is heartbreaking and sadly we have had to slow down how many we can help due to lack of funds 💔

We are sadly unable to help any more dogs unless full funds are raised as sadly our emergency funds pot no longer exists 💔

Major hasn't felt a human hand in over 545 days.

He's a service dog in Austin. A car hit him on a walk last year, and hurt and scared, he bit a woman who tried to pick him up. It was a bad bite. Nobody's denying that.

Since then he's been alone in an isolation kennel at the city shelter. Austin wants him put down. His owner says Major helps him with a brain injury and seizures, and a federal court has it on hold while it decides if an outside expert can evaluate him.

A hurt dog that bit once deserves a real evaluation before anybody kills him.

Should Major get that chance?

This man was deprived of food and water while he was in jail.

The jailers saw him every single day.

He lost almost 100lbs in less than 6 months.

He was forced to scoop water from the toilet to drink.

He went nearly a month without a shower because there was no water.

According to his family, the cause of death was profound dehydration.

He wrote to his father, begging for help.

He told his Dad he was starving, that he was being beaten.

He wrote, "there's no help for a white man."

He wrote to the judge, but the judge never received the letter.

A man was treated worse than animal.

For months.

He was found dead, on the feces-covered floor of a cell.

6 black jail employees were fired. Not arrested.

The death was ruled a homicide.

These people saw him, heard him, and probably smelled him.

EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

Now imagine if 6 white jailers had done that to a black man.

Or if ICE did it to an illegal.

Cities would still be burning.

His name was Gary "Bubba" Blair.

His life mattered.

His death was a crime.
