Elite 8 Quarterfinalist Predictions

The World Cup is heating up and I'm locking in my picks before the deadline.

Here's my Elite 8, team by team 👇

🇨🇴 Colombia

Vs Switzerland July 7.

Colombia dominated Ghana in possession and chances.

Good form, good depth, should have enough to move on.

My Elite 8 predictions are locked in.

I've waited as long as possible to gather more match data, study the brackets, evaluate team form, and look at the potential paths to the quarter-finals.

If I had to bet on the 8 teams that will make up the World Cup Elite 8, this is where I'm placing my confidence:

• 🇫🇷 France
• 🇧🇷 Brazil
• 🏴 England
• 🇧🇪 Belgium
• ��🇸 Spain
• 🇦🇷 Argentina
• 🇨🇴 Colombia

MY REASONING:

🇲🇦 Morocco is already through, and honestly, this shouldn't surprise anyone anymore. Their structure, discipline, and ability to thrive in knockout football continue to make them one of the toughest teams to face.

🇫🇷 France still possess one of the deepest squads in the tournament. Experience, quality in every line, and an incredible winning mentality give them the edge in high-pressure moments.

🇧🇷 Brazil remain Brazil. The attacking firepower, technical quality, and tournament pedigree make them difficult to bet against when the stakes are at their highest.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 England have the squad depth and balance to navigate difficult knockout ties. If they stay composed, I believe they have enough quality to reach the final eight.

🇧🇪 Belgium might be my boldest pick. Their matchup isn't straightforward, but experience in major tournaments often becomes the deciding factor when margins are razor-thin.

🇪🇸 Spain are playing some of the most complete football in the competition. Their control of games and tactical cohesion make them genuine contenders, although their clash with Portugal is easily one of the hardest calls to make.

🇦🇷 Argentina know how to survive knockout football. Tournament experience, resilience, and their ability to deliver in decisive moments keep them among my strongest picks.

🇨🇴 Colombia have quietly impressed me throughout the tournament. Their momentum, confidence, and overall performances make them my dark-horse selection to complete the Elite 8.

That said, football always finds a way to humble predictions.

The matches I'm least certain about are:
🇪🇸 Spain vs 🇵🇹 Portugal
🇧🇪 Belgium vs 🇺🇸 USA

Those two games could completely reshape my bracket.

These are my final calls for now, but I'm curious:
