Last week, Cedar Crest rising senior Eliana Schneider brought the heat to Savannah, Georgia, competing in the USATF Junior Olympics — and she didn’t leave empty-handed.

Eliana took home bronze in the Heptathlon, a grueling two-day, seven-event competition. The event tests the versatility of athletes by challenging them in the 100m hurdles, High Jump, Shot Put, 200m, Long Jump, Javelin Throw & 800m.

She capped off her performance by clocking the fastest 800m time in the entire field, showcasing her strength and endurance to finish strong.

Lancaster City Track Club’s Vivian Salerno takes 3rd in the 15/16 year old 800m to become an AAU Junior Olympic All-American in a time of 2:11.19!!! Congrats!
