Central Rift Community Development Program (CRCDP) successfully conducted its Annual General Meetings (Parents’ Assemblies) across all five implementation sites. The assemblies brought together over 4,000 parents of enrolled children, program staff, and community leaders.
The participants reviewed the projected works and program activities planned for the coming period, with a focus on enhancing service delivery, strengthening community participation, and ensuring sustainability of interventions.

But before a single goat was handed over, the families received hands-on training focused on income diversification through dairy goat farming. The sessions were practical and empowering, covering everything from how to properly feed and nourish goats for maximum milk production.

This week, CRCDP successfully distributed 71 dairy goats to 71 families of children enrolled in our program across Baringo and Elgeyo Marakwet counties.
Families in Baringo received German Alpine goats, known for their high milk production and ability to adapt to various climates while those in Elgeyo Marakwet were given Galla goats, a hardy breed that thrives in dry regions and is valued for both milk and meat.

Over the past four days, Central Rift Community Development Program conducted vital Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) training for 80 children aged 8-14. This initiative offered comprehensive, age-appropriate education on puberty, reproductive anatomy, and building respectful
relationships. It also addressed issues like teenage pregnancies, STIs, and the importance of open communication. The training empowered children to make informed decisions about their health and relationships, emphasizing respect, self-awareness, and responsible behavior.
Over the last 4 days we conducted comprehensive training for 80 children aged 6-14! We covered essential topics like peer pressure, goal setting, and decision-making to help them grow and thrive. Each child received exercise books to reinforce their learning during the holiday.

In the second phase of our Solvatten kit distribution, 576 additional beneficiaries, including children and their parents, received these essential kits. Our staff conducted comprehensive training sessions to ensure proper usage.
The Solvatten kit harnesses solar energy to purify contaminated water, making it safe for drinking and household use. Each kit can produce up to 10 liters of clean water per cycle and can be used up to four times a day. By reducing the need for firewood or charcoal, these kits
