@GianmarcoSoresi Out of curiosity, for your AU tour, why only Melbourne's tickets sold via horrendous ticketmaster (which slaps ~10% surcharge on a single ticket instantly) ? All other cities are with better providers and Melbourne is in tixmaster garbage
@PAXAus Any chance next pax attendees can just have pdf or something sane ? This guidebook experience been so far an absolute https://t.co/Zjdes9Go45 experience
@Cromwelp :) Lost in BG3.
Just bought The Game. Unlikely I'll play it anytime soon - I'm more a FPS-gamer tbh. But seeing all greatness and content you've gifted to us, players, I think this should be recognized & praised. No BPass, micro-trans, pay2win or other BS = Job bloody well done!
@immad@awwstn Drawboard is doing exactly that - a collaborative space for reviewing architectural, engineering and design drawings with workflow. They also have an offline PDF markup program
@rampantslug it partially makes sense when you count numbers and guess the ages of all king's grandsons. Still out of the blue. Won't be surprised they followed the book style when so much stuff was happening in parallel and all those names and faces made heads spinning..
@j_thomas_421@avaxnaut@danluu I've done that, keep track of last 4-5 companies and 5-7 years span, focus on project highlights. There are very few things that are more boring, than a 10 pages CV with watered down micro-projects and "time I did in company X". Hire and be hired for skills, not for time you did
@andreaswasita@simonwaight in last few years I use "obvious" less and less. Too many things already happened in opposite of "obvious" so I just shrug and have to change my own setups or preferences again and again.
Well, this is quite out of control Not-Invented-Here syndrome. Can we all please have less of these cr-apps and for the sake of user's real security, players in this field would cooperate instead of requiring your version of the app to be used.
@simonwaight I do have them too, not in MS app though. But point still stand - MS insists on their push passwordless bs for their service. I wish I can get rid of MS auth first tbh, as I have only 3 MS accs there and they are ALL using some different 2fa model. no idea where it went that bad
@EgorPavlikhin I wish I can, but this does not work - they don't care and I still need their services. I'm happy to do everything via totp but for some reason - it's an option that everyone deter. Maybe because totp is a standard and users can use other apps who talk the same standard.
@simonwaight This is not how it works in real life unfortunately. I'd ditch all these & put totp into bitwarden, but ms stuff requires ms (yeah nah, some ms services want stupid push bs), then Macquarie, then google, half of the services intentionally hide TOTP,want phone or push in THEIR app
FUN FACT: I just did another round of "what's making my Zoom calls stutter every 60s" and this time the culprit was... APPLE #!*$ING MAPS. That's right, Macs now come *preloaded* with software to ruin wifi latency :(
You can fix by revoking Maps' location access in Preferences:
