The market doesn’t care about your entry.
It doesn’t care about your strategy.
It doesn’t care how much you want to pass that funded challenge.
Your job is simple:
Find your setup.
Manage your risk.
Take the loss when you’re wrong.
Wait for the next one.
Trading becomes easier when you stop trying to force the market.
Here’s something none of you want to hear.
Probably 80-90% of ICT traders are unprofitable.
Just because you trade a solid methodology does not give you an advantage over any other methodology.
The same rates of failure are seen across trading universally.
You aren’t special.
After coaching hundred of traders it’s clear the only ones who succeed are the ones willing to actually work for it.
Consistency is a lot more important than huge profits.
You can't make huge returns every single month.
It's impossible.
And... if you have huge returns, you automatically have huge drawdowns.
One single mistake, and your account is fucking gone.
When you have $100 in your trading account, it doesn't matter, I know.
But... once your account becomes big, you won't be able to take the same risks anymore.
You might think you'll be able to take the same risks with an account balance of >$100,000, but you won't.
We're all greedy.
I am too.
I'd like to risk 15% per trade and become a fucking billionaire.
But... I know it won't work.
Even if it works in the short term, I'll lose everything over the long term.
It's guaranteed.
And... I'm aware of that.
Greed never wins.
Take it fucking slow.
Consistency is everything in trading.
If you can make 3% on average per month, you're going to become insanely rich.
You don't need 30% a month.
You can't achieve that consistently.
It's completely impossible.
3% is doable, and it'll make you disgustingly rich.
So...
To everyone, including me:
Focus on small, consistent gains over long periods of time.
Huge profits lead to huge drawdowns, which lead to bankruptcy.
Greed never fucking wins.
Most traders don’t lose because their strategy is bad.
They lose because they take trades that were never there.
No liquidity sweep.
No structure shift.
No real confirmation.
Just FOMO dressed up as “analysis.”
I’m documenting my journey to becoming a disciplined trader.
Let’s see where this goes. 📈
