They concluded the new design fulfilled the most important elements of flag design. The old flag is a blue rectangle with a circle.

@TrueFactsStated Was in Chicago last October on our way to FLW’s Robie House and all of a sudden we’re right next to OPC. It’s amazing! Imposing but elegant.
