No expanding Medicare. Realistically, talk to some of the elderly that are forced to use it and trapped by the laws meant to "help" them.
Mark Cuban has a good idea. Run the hospital, prove the financial realities. Let everyone see, very clearly, just what that hospital could and could not provide.
And how many people would still not pay their bills while complaining it cost too much.
@EagleEdMartin Now please get insurance companies to do the same. My doctor's office and hospital will tell you the prices, but the insurance company won't tell me what part of those prices I'm responsible for until after the service is provided and billed.
How about enforcing insurance transparency on the cost of care. The hospital can, and does, now provide me with a list of what they charge. What they cannot tell me, and insurance refuses to tell me until they are billed, is how much insurance will cover, make them right off, and tell them they can bill to me.
A day goes sideways so quickly. New to me desktop. I was expecting the hardware headache. It's been so long that I had forgotten the software headache.
And so glad that I waited until I actually had it in hand before I got add-on items and adapters.
Maybe it will be fully setup by next weekend. After the correct KVM switch, cables, and PCIe card arrive.
I don't care if we do or don't have the votes. One thing about bills is that you can bring them back up again. It's done all the time for things we don't want to happen. They just wait a bit and then do it when we aren't looking.
Hold the vote and let us know who isn't voting for us.
You are a garbage human, Doll.
DR earned that posting by doing more real journalism in one year than most members of the establishment media do in a career.
And the fact that she is deaf has not a damned thing to do about it.
Thatโs typical though. You DEI mongers canโt even envision a competent minority person earning what they have. Thatโs because you are all bigots.
It always seems helpful at first.
Since high value properties are already taxed higher, why is there a need for an additional tax based on age or family size? If they choose to live in a larger than needed, higher value home, they are already paying higher taxes. Even if they've already paid off the home.
I hate to be the one to tell you this, but that SS state is being paid into by all of us. And at the rate things are going none of it will be available in a decade.
You're talking about a slippery slope that can, and will, lead to government taxing anybody who takes up more room than the government thinks they should.
And before you say that won't happen, go look at all the other ads that started as some small thing that have then be used to create big things. Because govt will take as much money and power as it can. Even by twisting laws. Every single time.
Not going to agree with this. It's their home.
And I still don't get why people think that the older generation had it any easier than the current younger generations. They didn't. I refuse to let social media erase my living memory of how hard those years were for my grandparents, parents, and myself. No generation had it easy.
@Kronykal Has everyone forgotten that the first Trump admin looked into this, and that the guidelines for Constitutional amendment had been met quite a few times. Congress ignored it every time.
@CynicalPublius I won't say I was fond of her. But I understand a lot of what was going on.
One thing I have noticed is that she is showing signs of being under a lot of stress. And I'm sure the death threats were not helping. There is a good possibility that both sides are agreeing on this.
Since both you and Tyler Perry were shot down due to Federal cash gift laws... what about a nonprofit that could allow workers affected to apply, and then pay their bills directly instead of cash to them? Not a permanent structure. Or maybe permanent, but goes dormant.
I just am concerned if it becomes permanent it'll turn into an NGO. Or Congress will depend on it to allow their BS games in the future.
An old email that he likely hadn't thought about in over 5 years, and likely thought had been deleted in the Google cleanup of the past few years. Most likely did not have mfa. No work emails crossover. Nothing other than a normal person's life. This doesn't even come close to being embarrassing. Truthfully, it humanizes Kash in a way nothing else could. And shows that he understands amd follows both job security measures and cyber safety measures.
This is the best they could do?
Except I'd reach out to the bank and have the account numbers changed immediately.
@elonmusk I look at the negative pathways long enough to figure out why/what. And I use that knowledge to prevent future repeats.
Dwelling in negative is a good way to poison your own life.
