어제 엑소 보기 전에 2시간 정도 많은 팀 무대를 보며 느낀 게 있다.

사람을 미치게 만드는 매력은 꼭 외모나 잘생김만이 전부가 아니다는 것이다. 쉽게 눈에 띌 요소는 될 수는 있지만.. 오히려 비주얼만 강조되는 팀을 연속으로보다 보면 피로감이 느껴졌다.

요즘 엔터사는 sns파급효과에 따라가다보니 점점 안전한 비주얼에 집착하는 것 같은데, 그래서인지 우리가 흔히 ‘끼’라고 부르는 아우라가 공연장 무대 밖으로 튀어나오는 팀은 생각보다 많지 않았다. 무대야 말로 사람들이 가장직접적으로 스타를 보는 장소임에도 불구하고 말이다.

엑소가 14년 동안 정상급 위치를 유지하는 이유는 외모도 TOP로 뛰어나지만, 볼수록 사람을 끌어당기는 무언가가 소진되지 않는 다는 것이다.오히려 무대위의 그들의 노래와 퍼포먼스를 한번이라도 본다면 더 자주 보��싶게 만드는 중독같은 끌어당김이 있다. 심지어 그들의 무대는 시간이라는 것이 느껴지지 않는다.

그런 아우라는 흉내 내거나 교육한다고 만들어지는 종류의 것이 아닌 것 같다.
개인적으로는 이것이 대기업이 되고싶은
엔터사들 사이에 쏟아지는 “상품”과 자주 나올 수 없는 “스타”의 차이지 않을까 생각한다.
