🗣 @SkyKaveh: "Some people may be surprised that Rogers has decided to swap Aston Villa for Chelsea, but the player really did have his heart set on moving to Stamford Bridge and once the bid materialised, he accepted it straight away."
Here’s what I’ve learned after making too many shopping mistakes.
Pictures highlighted contains items from Temu
1. Crop Tops (I bought 3 sets)
Instead search:
• Ribbed Cotton
• Cotton-Spandex Blend
• Seamless Crop Top
• Double-Lined Crop Top
• Premium Rib Knit
• Modal Blend
Avoid thin polyester if you don’t want it to become see-through after a few washes.
2. Baby Tees
Search:
• Baby Tee
• 95% Cotton
• Cotton Jersey
• Ribbed Baby Tee
• Stretch Cotton
3. Oversized T-Shirts (tend to be more expensive rn)
Search:
• Heavyweight Cotton
• 240 GSM
• 260 GSM
• Combed Cotton
• Drop Shoulder Tee
Higher GSM usually means the shirt hangs better and feels more premium.
4. Tank Tops
Search:
• Seamless Tank
• Ribbed Tank
• Cotton Blend
• Double Layer Tank
Double-layer tanks usually aren’t see-through.
5. Hair Bands & Headbands (the one I bought was a little bit thin but I know best now)
Search:
• Satin Headband
• Silk Headband
• Padded Headband
• Knot Headband
• Non-slip Headband
Satin is gentler on your hair than rough polyester.
6. Claw Clips
Search:
• Acetate Hair Clip
• Cellulose Acetate
• Large Claw Clip
• Matte Claw Clip
Acetate clips are usually stronger and less likely to snap than cheap plastic ones.
7. Earrings
Search:
• 925 Sterling Silver
• Stainless Steel
• Hypoallergenic
• Gold Vermeil
• PVD Gold Plated
These last much longer than regular fashion jewelry.
8. Necklaces ( they are plenty of 3in1 necklace in this category, avoid it)
Search:
• 316L Stainless Steel
• Titanium Steel
• PVD Gold
• Tarnish Resistant
If the seller doesn’t mention the material, that’s usually not a good sign.
9. Rings ( I bought 15pcs for 4500 and it’s pink now) avoid alloy
Search:
• Stainless Steel
• 18K PVD Gold
• Adjustable Ring
• Cubic Zirconia
• Moissanite (if you want sparkle)
Cheap alloy rings tend to fade quickly.
10. Handbags ( most tend to be made with plastic leather)
Search:
• Vegan Leather
• PU Leather (High Grade)
• Pebbled Leather
• Crossbody Bag
• Gold Hardware
Always check customer photos to see if the bag keeps its shape.
Here’s how I shop now:
• Material first. Pictures second.
• Read the lowest-rated reviews before the highest-rated ones.
• Customer photos > seller photos.
• Check measurements. “Mini bag” sometimes means really mini.
• Buy from listings with lots of orders.
• Don’t trust words like “luxury” or “premium” unless the materials back them up.
• If a listing has videos from buyers, watch those before checking out.
For the ladies, here is how to shop for quality hairs on Temu.
I haven’t shopped on SHEIN so you can only try this when it comes to Temu.
I have gotten bad hairs, so trust me.
Will hold you hands so you don’t make mistakes
P.S : do not buy the wig highlighted below, remove if you’ve added it to your cart.
That’s why they end up with shiny, tangled wigs that look nothing like the pictures.
1. Bone Straight Wigs
Instead search:
• 100% Human Hair
• Virgin Human Hair
• HD Lace
• 13x4 Lace Front
• 13x6 Lace Front
• Pre-plucked Hairline
• Single Donor Hair (if available)
• Brazilian Straight
• Vietnamese Hair (usually silkier and thicker)
• Burmese Hair (fuller texture)
If it doesn’t clearly state 100% human hair, assume it’s blended or synthetic.
2. Curly Wigs
Search:
• Deep Wave
• Water Wave
• Jerry Curl
• Kinky Curly
• Afro Kinky Curly
• Loose Deep Wave
Look for customer videos.
Curly hair can look amazing in product photos but completely different after washing.
3. Bob Wigs
Search:
• Blunt Cut Bob
• HD Lace Bob
• Glueless Bob Wig
• 180 Density
• 200 Density
A high-density bob usually looks fuller and lasts longer.
4. Closure Wigs
Search:
• 5x5 HD Closure
• 6x6 HD Closure
• Glueless Closure Wig
These are beginner-friendly and easier to maintain than frontal wigs.
5. Frontal Wigs
Search:
• 13x4 Frontal
• 13x6 Frontal
• HD Lace
• Transparent Lace
• Bleached Knots
• Pre-plucked
More lace generally means more styling options.
6. Glueless Wigs
Search:
• Adjustable Elastic Band
• Wear and Go Wig
• Beginner Friendly
Perfect if you don’t want glue every morning.
7. Density
Search:
• 150% Density (natural everyday look)
• 180% Density (most popular)
• 200–250% Density (very full)
Higher density doesn’t always mean better.
Choose based on the look you want.
8. Lace
Search:
• HD Lace
• Swiss Lace
• Transparent Lace
Good lace melts into the skin better and looks more natural.
How I shop now:
• I read the hair material before I even look at the photos.
• If it doesn’t clearly say 100% human hair, I keep scrolling.
• I watch customer videos before I trust seller pictures.
• Videos don’t hide bad density or poor lace.
I read the lowest-rated reviews first.
That’s where people tell you if the wig sheds, tangles, or smells.
• I compare density, not just length.
A 30-inch wig with 150% density can look thinner than a 24-inch wig with 180% density.
• If the seller won’t tell you the lace type, density, or hair source, that’s a red flag.
Customer photos > product photos.
A good wig isn’t just about the length.
It’s about the hair quality, density, lace, construction, and honest reviews.
Thank youu.
I just completed my NYSC in Calabar. I've always had a bespoke fashion business since I was in 300 level OAU. Now, it feels like I don't have a clientele to come back to. I don't even know where to pick my business from anymore.
I can make really good outfits from any distance.
One habit has saved me more money than negotiating prices.
Walking away. !
I’ve learned that if a supplier avoids simple questions, keeps changing details, or pressures you to pay quickly…
I simply move on.
There are thousands of suppliers on 1688.
You don’t have to force a deal with the wrong one.
Sometimes the best business decision is the one you don’t make.
1688 Tip #7
Don’t ask a supplier one question at a time.
Send all your questions in one clear message.
Instead of asking
-Price?
-MOQ?
-Shipping?
Say:
“Hi, I’m interested in this product. Kindly share:
• Unit price
• MOQ
• Production lead time
• Product specifications
• Available colours
• Packaging details”
Clear communication saves time and helps suppliers take you more seriously.
Professional buyers ask professional questions.
Stay tuned for 1688 Tip #8 tomorrow. Drop your questions in the comments sections. Let’s discuss more about how this is helping you get started with your importation business.
When people ask me, “why furniture making? What happened to sewing, make up or hairdressing?”
I ask them, “who made the rules?”
Meet the Goshen Reception table, sturdy and suitable for two receptionists.
I make good furnitures, try me.
Others: You're broke! You're competing with Arsenal! You're not even in Europe!
Chelsea: Cool, here's a British record bid

Made one post about Handshake and my dms are a mess.
This is why I don't talk about these things on here. My life is already hectic as is.
For folks that followed me because of Handshake post, please note that while I am good at this stuff, I am not building a whole brand around it. So please don't expect me to start posting 24/7 about it.
I've been running my operation through WhatsApp. My folks refer me because I'm good, so I do not need to farm impressions to get accounts or make Elon coins to survive.
On here, I share my opinions and thoughts as I wish.
You guys might tempt me with these monies and I might decide to expand my operations to X sha. Because dang, offers and prospects are juicy!
This experience has also made me understand why there are alot of grifters that use Outlier and Handshake posts to farm on-here. The number of financial offers I've gotten just from that post is crazy.
I'm getting offers for thing I do for free for my folks on WhatsApp.
Funny stuff.
Anyway, here is an Intro training video for the Multimodal Agent Arena task on the Hedgehog project in Handshake.
Sound comes on at around 3 minutes into the video.
I made this video because I wanted to make this post. Other training videos for my folks are not as smooth so it would take some time to edit them and share.
