He encourages us to get apps such as My Shake and Quake Alert USA … and if you get an alert: Drop - Cover - and HOLD ON!

Expecting elevated/critical fire weather danger into Mon, with our current Red Flag Warning for LA & Ventura Co going until 3pm Mon. Drive with caution and avoid creating sparks. Using motorized vehicles over dry vegetation, cigarette butts, and lawn equipment can create sparks!

Malibu CERT assisted with the July 4th Parade at Pt Dume. We did crowd and traffic control and were prepared to give First Aid if needed. It was a record turnout! People were so happy to be out!!!
