It's not just sexual assaults y'know... If we want to make the gamer community a safer, more pleasant environment for women we need to get in chat and call out all the absolutely disgusting trash talk and verbal abuse that gets directed at women.

internally quite often. It's been a relief. But, the Games Industry has left me quite scarred - I love working with Community, and going back to games somewhen is not out of the book but it's not something I dream of anymore as I used to as a teenager. 13/13

So when the Stack Overflow recruiter told me on the first phone screening the company took diversity seriously, I was hopeful. The job ad said as much too. Thankfully, I haven't had anything like that happen here. Quite the contrary, I see diversity being celebrated 12/13
