If the four angels in revelations… are the elements… then… Angels… are the elements… and you… are the elements…In physical form…You become a fallen angel…A demon… Based on what / whom… you serve.
Lotus Flowers and Enneagrams 🧵
The Lotus Flower is one of the most important Esoteric Symbols. Many Deities are said to be (Allegorically) Born from the Lotus Flower including the Buddha, Brahma, Heru or Harpocrates, etc. These deities all symbolize the Rising of the PEARL (or JEWEL) in the LOTUS.
The Lotus Flower symbolizes Sexual Transmutation. The Lotus is, also, TRANSFORMATIVE.
The Lotus Flower is used to symbolize the FOUR Classical Elements: A Lotus Flower has its roots in the EARTH, it grows through WATER, out into the AIR and looks toward the SUN (FIRE). The Four ELEMENTS are analogous to Salt, Sulfur, Mercury and AZOTH of Alchemy and the FOUR Letters of the Tetragrammaton (Sacred Name of the Hebrew God)
It is taught that as the SEED (Bindu/ Yod/ Semen) rises through the KULA PATH (or Kundalini), "Thou art reside in secrecy with Thy Lord (The spirit) in the thousand petalled Lotus, having pierced through the Earth situated in 'Mooladhara', the Water in Manipura, the Fire abiding in the Svadhisthana, the Air in the Heart ('Anahata'), the Ether above (Visshuddhi) and 'Manas' between the eyebrows ('Agnya') and thus broken through the entire 'Kula Path'."
As the above quote explains, Earth is symbolized by the Root or Mooladhara Chakra, Water is associated with the Manipura Chakra, Fire is associated with the Svadhisthana Chakra, Air is Associated with Anahata or Heart Chakra and the Aether with the Visshuddi.
The Seed (Bindu/ Semen), Sexual Energy, must travel like a Serpent from the ROOT or Mooladhara Chakra to the Crown, the entire "Kula Path" to reside in the secrecy of Thy Lord, symbolized by the Thousand Petalled Lotus. The Thousand Petalled Lotus was seen as a Symbol of the Illuminated PINEal Gland or God MIND after the SEED had been the Transmutated into Spiritual Energy. But, now, it should be more clear the Symbolism of the Four Elements and the Blossomed Lotus Flower.
The Closed Lotus Flower is for those that squander their Seed and Sexual Vitality.
"Aum Mani Padme Hum” is a mantra that means “Hail (or Praise) to the Jewel in the Lotus".
Another important place we can find the importance of the Symbolism of the Lotus Flower is in the work and SYMBOL of the Great Indian Yogi and Philosopher Sri Aurobindo.
In Sri Aurobindo’s own symbol, the Lotus Flower is enclosed in a Six Pointed Triangle (Hexagon). The interlaced triangles representing the Three Fold Divine principle of Sachchidananda: Existence, Knowledge and Bliss and the threefold mundane principles of Mind, Life and Matter. The Upper Triangle representing the Male and Shiva while the Lower Triangle represents the Female and Shakti. These TRIADS express the Sacred Triamazikamno or LAW of THREE.
G.I. Gurdjieff explains of the First Cosmic Law, the Sacred Triamazikamno, "The Law of Nature through which action is accomplished by three forces: the Active Principle (Positive Pole), the Passive Principle (Negative Pole) and the principle that conciliates both is the third force (Neutral Pole)."
We can see in Sri Aurobindo symbol, the Law of Three expressed not just in the Double Triangle, but upon closer inspection we can see the Numerical Harmonies expressed in the petals of the Lotus Flower: there are 9 petals at the top of the lotus, 6 petals in the middle and 3 petals at the bottom, resting on the 7 waves.
9, 6, 3 are all multiples of THREE, the Law of Three is often expressed as 3x3 or the Triple Ternany. The Triad of Trinities, for example, Time, Space and Matter is a Trinity, that is broken down into Time (Past, Present, Future), Space (Length, Width, Height) and Matter (Solid, Liquid, Gas).
As Nikola Tesla explained, "If you only knew the magnificence of the 3, 6 and 9, then you would have a key to the universe."
Sri Aurobindo used 3, 6 and 9 to represent a universal key that helps us to understand the occult dynamic by which Spirit becomes Matter.
