Today we honoured the 20,000 men and women from Commonwealth Air Forces who lost their lives in WWII but have no known grave. Their names are recorded at the @CWGC Runnymede Memorial.

We are very pleased to announce that Flt Lt Rob Morrison has been appointed as the Wing's Cyber Officer.
This will see Rob working hard to improve the Cyber activities available to squadrons, and developing new opportunities available to all within this growing area.

Last night saw Wing Aviation our Officer award a Gold Cyber badge to CWO Lowe at 866 (Immingham) last night, alongside his good friend and colleague Sqn Ldr Owen, Radio & Cyber Officer for @SWYorksWing, who awarded Cdr Noel-Dilibarajah with his Silver Cyber badge.
Well done both!
This week has been a bumper aviation week for us, with 23 cadets (and a staff member) airborne at 11AEF and 644VGS in just 4 days! We’ve also got one of our cadets up at @taysideaviation on ACPS - so the aviation just keeps coming :-)

Recently we qualified six new Fieldcraft Instructors, to allow us to get our cadets more involved in Fieldcraft Skills. 20 cadets were taught the basics over 2 days, with a consolidation night exercise in between. Lots of fun and hard work by all! #whatwedo#aircadets
This weekend saw another Basic Aviation Course, this time for @119Cadets and @739atc - with cadets learning the basics of aviation with our skilled instructors, and experiencing our immersive virtual reality set ups. #whatwedo#noordinaryhobby
