Myanmar vs Guam later at Rizal Memorial.
PMNT coaches probably gonna scout this game intensely, obviously bc they play on Tuesday but more so for the opener of the Hyundai.
Must win game. Drawing to Myanmar and Laos like last time in 2024 probably eliminates the PH this time
Unai Emery on being told how hard he works:
🗣️ “Well I love my job. I have no problem working from 8 am to 8 pm, in front of a laptop, analyzing our team or other football teams, or preparing training sessions.”
“Look, I have a principle: in football, you can work 24 hours a day. There is always something you can do. For example, if you need a striker, you can watch every match of every potential striker you might want to sign.”
“It is possible, however, because the staff and I are not served by football; we serve football.”

Shift the defense around with their passes
Mrowka’s eager to get on the ball. Can he play as the deepest midfielder against a low block I wonder?
We face Laos and Myanmar in the Hyundai, PH need to be good against deep blocks
Diff story vs Thailand and Malaysia of
Cole Mrowka had a spell in the first half where he was just switching the play, insane passing range
Need to see it vs Myanmar, who will be fitter, sharper, and more solid than Guam (all due respect)
But so crucial to breaking down low blocks: having a creative outlet who can
First season as a commentator for the Philippines Football League ✅
So many great games and storylines this past year. 135 matches and I had the privilege to cover some of them.
What an experience, excited for more!

Is this the first time a PFL season ended and we actually knew when it would restart?
Might’ve happened pre pandemic actually but still, some form of stability is nice
Got to interview Quincy Kammeraad last night during the PFL finals
Nice to see him along with other PMNT members in attendance.
Cuadrat and his two assistants were present.
Didn’t get a number the RMS was full, wonderful to see.
Would not surprise me at all if One Taguig set up with a 5 at the back later, to nullify Digger's overloading at the last line.
Some of Taguig's best performances this season (vs Kaya 2x) were with a 5atb (either static or situational).

Case: Manila Digger attacking patterns, creating 1v1 duels in attacking third.
Teams that play with a back four will find it difficult to play vs Digger's attack who... (1/2)
send forward 4 and sometimes even 5 aerial targets to outnumber the defenders. All it takes is for one of them to win their duel and they're in business.
Extra defensive concentration (and physicality) is required when playing vs Manila Digger
