@Engr_Hamzee Not really. £125m for Enzo buys 5 years plus an asset still worth £70m+ after. Xhaka has little resale value and likely only 1-2 top seasons left. On that basis, £10-15m is a fairer comparison than £20-25m.
@iamrahmanosman The rules are being totally consistently applied. Bad tackle by lower tier player equals red card. Bad tackle by world elite player who FIFA relies on for promotion and interest equals no card.
@GoldbergCFC Totally all in on this deal. And even happy for him to be a semi regular starter. However, there needs to be top quality to challenge him as he can’t possibly sustain top 4 level all season. And we can’t just replace Enzo with a 34 year old.
@CFCDaily That’s an understatement - and no natural RB to replace him so the pressure will be on for him to play. Could pose a longer term issue for Chelsea
@scoutedftbl Simplified world view on suggesting the signings are going to block Josh - Chelsea will not be playing 4 at the back and that is the conclusion that makes the most sense with the players we are being heavily linked to
@CFCKhris Haven’t seen enough of Lacroix to go all in on him. All I know is Van Hacke is a heck of a player when it comes to distribution, but we have Colwill so it’s muscle and physicals that I’m looking for!
