According to Fabrizio Romano, the club will consider offers. Mudryk himself prefers a move to another Premier League side, though Italian clubs and Strasbourg are also in the mix.

It’s just unfortunate how things have played out for him at Stamford Bridge. There were moments where the raw talent was obvious and you could see why the club invested so heavily.

I really feel he would have been a good addition to the squad if the consistency and adaptation had clicked the way many hoped.

Marco Silva wants Tosin Adarabioyo at Benfica.

The Portuguese side’s manager has identified the Chelsea centre back as the defender he wants to bring in to shore up his back line.

The pair already know each other well after three seasons together at Fulham, so Silva will have a clear idea of what Tosin can deliver.

Adarabioyo is still in his prime and has shown he can handle the physical and technical demands of the Premier League.

Chelsea’s defensive options have grown since he arrived, which means regular starts are not always guaranteed.

A move to a club where he would be a mainstay under a manager who trusts him could make sense for all parties.

Chelsea do not need Fabian Ruiz right now.

The midfield is already well-stocked with Enzo Fernández, Moisés Caicedo, Romeo Lavia and the emerging options coming through.

Adding a 30 year old for more than €60m would be an expensive duplication rather than a genuine upgrade.

Ruiz is a fine player, no question. He has quality and experience at the highest level.

But at this stage of his career the fee and the wages that would come with it make little sense for a side still building long-term.

Chelsea’s priority should be protecting squad balance, managing the wage bill and giving younger players proper minutes instead of stacking the centre of the pitch with another senior option who is not going to be around for the next five or six years.

Xabi Alonso may rate him, and the interest is understandable, but the current squad does not have a clear, urgent hole that only Ruiz can fill.

Chelsea eyeing more outgoings this month.

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Chelsea are set for a “busy August” focused on sales, with Tosin Adarabioyo now among those who could leave Stamford Bridge.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano said:

“For Chelsea, it’s going to be busy for sure… they signed Welbeck, Henderson and all the others, but now Chelsea are going to complete some outgoings.

Trevoh Chalobah is going to Como… Badiashile is leaving, I think also Tosin Adarabioyo is leaving.”

The centre-back arrived on a free transfer from Fulham in 2024 but has not locked down a regular starting role across two seasons.

With the first team squad now at 41 players after recent arrivals, the club is looking to trim numbers significantly.

Nicolas Jackson, Liam Delap, Axel Disasi and others are also being linked with exits as Chelsea look to reshape the roster.

Imagine having a striker who is always so close to scoring but never scores.

It was purely their mistake and greed over just making money out of the team instead of looking at winning trophies.

And to sum it all up, they employed low standard coaches that made Chelsea tean look like Ted Lasso series.
