๐จ BREAKING: Liverpool confirm Andoni Iraola as their new head coach. He has signed a two-year contract.
It follows a rigorous yet urgent process following the departure of Arne Slot, who only found out he was leaving on Saturday morning.
#LFC decided to evolve their playing style to make it more front-foot, aggressive and urgent. Iraola viewed as fitting that bill.
Liverpool able to attract Iraola, who was in talks with Crystal Palace, Leverkusen and Milan.
He is well-known to Richard Hughes and someone whose career #LFC have followed for over a decade. Understand the club actually tried to sign him as a player.
Length of Iraolaโs contract is in keeping with how the Spaniard works.
It was clear from the outset Iraola was the standout candidate, even though Sebastian Hoeneร and Pierre Sage were considered.
Once Iraola knew of Liverpoolโs interest, he made it clear to the club all other options were off the table and he wanted to join.
Backroom staff to be confirmed shortly. Tommy Elphick, Shaun Cooper, Tom Webber and Pablo de la Torre all expected to join.
Liverpool were attracted by Iraolaโs clear identity, proven Premier League record and his personality and leadership qualities.
His teams play with intensity, aggression and purpose, including with a high press, ability to win the ball back quickly and attack at speed. Liverpool also believe he has a track record of specifically improving attackers.
His approach has drawn some comparisons to the style that brought Liverpool success over the last decade.
#LFC believe Iraola will bring continuity, fresh ideas and help Liverpool evolve and ultimately win silverware.๐ช๐ธ
I am starting to believe no player wants to join Chelsea, they don't even wanna talk lol cause wtf is going on and having Alonso does not help I wouldn't wanna play for him too and this club briefed Tosin staying๐ญ
San Antonio Spurs, i actually think they were the better team Game 1 for most of the game, they should have done a lot better when wemby put them in the lead in the 4Q after his free throws but the occasion not the opponent got the better of them, game 2 must win, Spurs in 5.

1. Alejandro Grimaldo - Played under Alonso and could be our Marcos Alonso with his top set pieces.
2. Federico Demarco - will be helpful if Alonso decides to play a back 5 (don't wanna see a back 5) experienced, winner and has a great delivery.
3. David Raum - top player.
So happy for Jorrel Hato, though I would've loved to have Lewis Hall back this summer I think we should go for someone more experienced who wouldn't cry for lots of minutes but will be able to help and compete at the top level, I'll be back with suggestions.

This is what I've been tryna say, this boy is a top talent he just wants to be in the big league this thing of loaning him out lowers his morale and doesn't perform to the level needed but excited for his call up and he'll smash it with Caicedo and I wanna see it at Chelsea too.
Watching the 2016 UCL final, Real Madrid v Atletico Madrid, man how I forget how great Gareth Bale was and Atletico playing nice football, times have changed for the worse.
I know Xabi Alonso will fail at Chelsea because of his style of play and if he rates Sanchez to be our number one again next season he shouldn't see our first league game.
I've got a funny feeling this goes through, no one is flying from Spain to London to get rejected lol, I also believe Chelsea go for Osimhen this time but we'll see.
Personally I don't think he needs a loan this guy is a top talent I've seen it at the highest level with Ecuador, I also believe that's why he is not performing well on loan he just wants to be at Chelsea and I think he should have Pre season with Chelsea and play league cups.
Meetings will take place in the coming weeks to discuss whether to cut short Kendry Paezโs River Plate loan.
No decision taken yet, but understand it will be discussed this summer even though the loan runs until the end of the year.๐ช๐จ
๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๐ฒ๐ฆ OFFICIAL: Morocco release World Cup final squad.
Achraf Hakimi recovers, and Bouaddi is officially confirmed as part of Morocco project.
Chelsea, I present to you, Chema Andrรฉs aka 'Baby Rodri'.
With Nico Paz heading back to Madrid I think getting Chema Andrรฉs this summer after signing Wharton would be great business and addition to the squad, I rate him above Santos and you can't go wrong with Spanish int'l.
Real Madrid fans, keep a close eye on this one. โช๏ธ๐
Chema Andrรฉs is dominating the Bundesliga with VfB Stuttgart. With a reported โฌ13.5m buy-back clause for 2026, the path back to the Bernabรฉu is already being paved. ๐๐
