For over 5 years, I stepped away from making clothes commercially. 💔

Not because I fell out of love with fashion. ❌
Not because I lost my touch. ❌

In fact, two apprentices have already graduated under my guidance, proof that the skill was top notch. 😂

Life simply shifted. Priorities changed. And somewhere along the way, I pressed pause on that creative fire inside me.

In 2021, I bought two sewing machines, a powerful Emel industrial straight stitch and a trusty manual Butterfly. But when life got heavy, I had to let the Emel go. 😭

The Butterfly? It’s still here, patiently waiting, unboxed in its quiet corner. I’ve used it only for myself, stitching personal pieces, adjusting fits, keeping the passion alive in small, silent ways. No brand. No clients. No noise. Just me and the love for what I do best.

But lately? that old urge has been whispering louder. The feeling that I’m not done with this journey yet. That this chapter isn’t closed.

So I stopped overthinking. I pushed myself through a tough challenge just to bring a new machine home. Nothing extravagant, just a deliberate decision to start again.

Because sometimes, you don’t quit your dreams. You pause them.

Life can be crazy and tough, but as long as there’s breath in your body, there’s hope💯 When the time feels right, you pick it back up with fresh courage.

I’m excited to see where this revival takes me.

Thank you, Jesus, for breathing new fire, courage, and determination into my spirit. 🙏✨
