@midwestbmc@redrock_bball And if thatโs how you want to play, you do you, but to me that sounds dead. But Iโm pulling for you, hope you get the 10gs
@midwestbmc@redrock_bball I mean if thatโs how you want to play, Iโm the opposite. I want to encourage trading, I think it makes the league far more fun and unpredictable. If I wanted a realistic gm experience id play 2k myleague
@midwestbmc@redrock_bball Also kind of takes the fun out of trading for buy low players if a manger panicked because a star isnโt performing but over half the league thinks they will bounce back. Can spend ages trying to work a trade just for 7 managers to be like, nah
@midwestbmc@redrock_bball The argument is that even if a trade is even on paper there are always people who will vote against it if they view it as too beneficial for one team. I have literally seen that happen so many times.
@midwestbmc@redrock_bball Yeah but you can definitely know. Like a couple of years ago in my league one of the teams who was out of the playoffs attempted to trade their top 3 players for a playoffs teams bottom 3, clearly collusion.
@midwestbmc@redrock_bball I actually believe it should literally only be used in cases of obvious collusion, hence my comment. If a manager just gets fleeced in a trade, or other owners think they did, then too bad. At least thatโs my opinion
@midwestbmc@redrock_bball That seems silly to me. Whatโs the difference between subtle collusion and managing to convince someone to make a trade even though it benefits you? Just because you win a trade doesnโt make it collusion, perhaps you are just a better negotiator.
