Andrea Melo, IAAC Chair, highlighted the participation of the organization’s members in Prague, within the framework of the first meeting of @Global_ACI, the new global accreditation organization.

As part of the Midterm Meetings, IAAC members are actively participating in the different Global ACI committees, including the Development Support Committee, the Inspection Committee, the Certification, Verification and Validation Committee, and the Laboratory Committee. 🔍👨‍🔬📄

Our President, Andrea Melo, emphasized the active engagement of members in the pursuit of harmonization and in the development of the new global accreditation structure, as part of this new stage of international cooperation. 🌍

Nuestra directora ejecutiva, Martha Mejía, participó como panelista en el espacio “Mujeres en la gobernanza global de la acreditación”, donde compartió reflexiones en su nuevo rol como Presidenta del Comité Técnico 1 de Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated, destacando la importancia de la cooperación internacional y la armonización de las prácticas de acreditación para fortalecer la confianza en los servicios de evaluación de la conformidad. 🌎
Por su parte, nuestra directora general, Maribel López, fungió como moderadora en el panel “Mujeres liderando el mundo de la acreditación”, guiando el diálogo e impulsando el intercambio de experiencias entre especialistas de la región.
