From all of us here at CFKR, we're delighted to launch our updated 2026 grant application process, with over $155,000 available for granting to local non-profits.

4. CFKR recognizes that local non-profits have deep knowledge and expertise and that it is often uniquely challenging to secure funding for basic operational costs. As a result, for CFKR’s 2026 grant application process, operating costs are eligible expenses.

Here at CFKR, our favourite way to celebrate is by announcing the recipient of CFKR's 2025 Knights of Pythias Community Volunteer Award: Tony Bourke! 🎉🎉

As the 2025 recipient of CFKR’s Community Volunteer Award recipient, Tony is designating the accompanying $750.00 donation to KidSport Cranbrook, to assist local children and youth with the costs of participating in sports.

CFKR is honoured to steward the Knights of Pythias endowment fund, which includes the direction to recognize a community volunteer on an annual basis, including a donation to the recipient’s charity of choice.
