A brief Regulatory Committee this evening but two important decisions for Twickenham. Renewal of the successful buffer zone at the Rosslyn Road BPAS clinic, and renewal of the cumulative impact zone for new alcohol licences in the town centre. Two good results for residents.
@JamesHenryChard Thank you so much for your help with the buffer zone. Hopefully with the introduction of the national legislation at the end of this month it won't be necessary in another 3 years!
@duolingo lost my streak because the app can't handle the clocks going forward? Completed my daily lesson between 11pm-midnight last night but my streak has been reset. What can I do about it?! ๐ฑ
Thank you to everyone who came to our monthly vigil and helped @WepRichmond light the path across The Green. Big thanks to @rhirhilee84 for her work on the campaign and to @TRLibDems and @TwickenhamNub.
Despite promises of funding, schools are telling me they've never had it so bad.
One's asking parents to buy glue sticks. Another's charging pupils to join sports teams.
Children are our future. We cannot afford to let them down. #politicslondon
Library @ St Mary's Primary School #Twickenham flooded yday - ceiling collapsed in torrential rain, destroying books, furniture & children's art work. PTA fundraising to replace lost books https://t.co/OF9zXfPsnX. Pls share @munirawilson@TwickTribune@richmondtimes@TRLibDems
Stop#VAWG - 2nd monthly vigil today, Twickenham Grn, Amelie Delagrange bench, @ 18.00. We remember ALL women killed in the UK, 9 since last vigil.
WE believe #VAWG should be tackled by press & politicians EVERY day. Read coverage of 1st vigil.

I'll be speaking at the End Violence Against Women & Girls vigil - Twickenham Green, Amelie Delegrange's memorial bench, 6pm, Mon 4th Oct.
Join us to remember Sarah, Sabina & the 81 other women murdered by men since Sarah's death, find out you can take a stand. @WepRichmond
Iโll say it again:
Violence against Women is not an issue of womenโs safety, itโs an issue of male violence
Handing out alarms & increasing street lighting merely shines a brighter light on the inadequacy of the stateโs response

WE know childcare is unaffordable as women can spend more than 1/2 their income on 1 child under 2 @WomensBudgetGrp. Itโs time childcare was viewed as part of our national infrastructure, not a patchwork quilt stitched by each parent. @vickyford WE need an independent review
