Sofía is an MSW Student Intern in the Advanced Standing Program at Metropolitan State University. She is working toward her goal of becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

As a bilingual, first-generation Bolivian-American, she deeply understands the challenges of navigating multiple cultural identities and is dedicated to providing trauma-informed care. In her free time, Sofía enjoys creating art and spending time with her Pomeranian, Milo. 🐾

When she’s not busy making a difference, you can find Kelsey hiking the beautiful Colorado mountains, traveling, or hanging out with her two rescue pups, Axe and Nala. 🐾🐾 We’re so excited to have her on board! Let’s give Kelsey a warm welcome! 👏 #WelcomeKelsey #MentalHealth

Kelsey is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate with a huge heart for helping children, teens, and families heal from trauma.

Her therapeutic toolkit includes play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and person-centered therapy—and she’s also EMDR trained! But more than anything, Kelsey knows the power of building strong relationships and creating a safe, validating space for her clients to heal. 💙
