Still reeling from successfully defending my PhD work yesterday! It feels surreal that this chapter of my MD-PhD training is coming to an end. I am eternally grateful to @DavidMalkin1 and Ran Kafri for supervising me through not one, but two grad degrees.

My lab became my second family and I have made wonderful, lifelong friendships with these wonderful people. I feel so, so lucky. The lab felt like my second home thanks to them.

It was great to have this powerhouse committee yesterday for my defense including the co-discoverer of p53, discoverer of p53 in C. elegans, and discoverer of mutation in TP53 as the underlying genetic cause of LFS. So lucky and grateful 😊
