Why the Pin codes are removed and applicants can't use pin codes as per their documents instead they are being advised to use incorrect pin in which they are not residing but has to use as they have to grt passport.

They have removed certain valid pin codes and issuing passport with incorrect PIN codes which will be be available in any of your documents but PSKs will advise us to use nearest Pin code which is wrong

Why passport office has to create such issues.

The has has to be rectified and immediately advise TCS to correct their software as technology should improve process not create problems for users.

@passportsevamea @DrSJaishankar @rpobengaluru not sure how the passport pin codes are updated in passport portal as it is not allowed certain Pin codes we have to use incorrect PIN codes which is not correct as per ID cards available and not related to our area/cities.

My Pin code should be 585228 but passport software only accepts 585229 which is incorrect. I have Googled and found that this problem is facing by citizens across country and their passports are being issued with incorrect PIN codes which is serious matter.
