@Jenny_1884 That is so overgeneralised. No one works all their lives, plenty of people don't work at all and also not all was hard work. This generational stereotyping is pretty terrible.
@PlantBasedNews It should be near the meat but not next. People who want plant based could also accidentally pick up meat products. Hate nothing more than having to walk to the far for plant based food and scattered across three freezer sections. (For similar items)
@Jenny_1884@GBNEWS And no, I don't support the reintroduction of national service but am for more funding for education, apprenticeships, opportunities for the young and just hate the "worked all their life and paid taxes" argument. Simply because no one works all their life and not all paid taxes.
@Jenny_1884@GBNEWS Have they all done their fair share for the country? Did all work? Are they the main demographic responsible voting for Brexit. If national service is back it seems unfair to start with just 18 year olds in my view.Given that the average income is 28k in UK how many pay taxes?
@tazgezwitscher Und damit wird zu einem Martyr, wird keine Jobs in Deutschland finden und die einzigen, die ihr helfen, werden irgendwelche rechte Unternehmer sein. Sie braucht mehr Aufklaerung.
@LikeGoinThisWay Yes there should be a basic command at https://t.co/RVfxMT5w9s be able to go to the doctor, buy train/bus tickets , report an emergency and the same counts for any country.Refugees might take longer as they tend to be uprooted but if someone chooses a country, learn the lingo.
@yodicholaverdad@LikeGoinThisWay English is very easy to learn and to get started with, why else would it be so widely spoken elsewhere? However it becomes difficult when trying to switch to a proficient level as it is not a logical/systematic language like French/German/Italian etc.
@catslaveto4 I am all for the state pension to be better but what you say is not true per say. It is 35 years and based on national insurance contributions, not taxes and the threshold for paying NI is lower than paying taxes, meaning someone who never paid taxes would still get a pension.
