Gears of War: E-Day reportedly cost over $500 million to develop, excluding marketing.
A source familiar with Xbox’s business says the budget exceeds earlier reports of over $400 million.
Alinea Analytics estimates around 230,000 copies sold in the first week, generating about $37 million. Microsoft has not yet released official sales or player numbers.
A PS5 release probably wouldn’t have solved the problem. Gears of War: Reloaded sold 684,000 copies on PS5, which would have added roughly $33 million in revenue for E-Day after platform fees.
If true, the studio is cooked, Asha is coming for them.
@ShitpostRock It's because they think they already developed a loyal enough fanbase that will buy anything they put out like ball and gun games. Funny thing is not even the queers vibed with how tacky they were handled in Veilguard.
Puta que pariu!! Fizeram um mod pro RE5 onde a movimentação é livre igual nos RE atuais. Agora é possível andar e atirar, e se movimentar livremente em 360°. Muito foda!
Vou rejogar com certeza!!
EA has to be the luckiest company
Imagine being anti-gamer, evil, and voted worst company multiple years in a row, but now you got a small army of idiots defending you for FREE
FOR FREE
@esjesjesj They deserve it for making bad games, actually
No other game studio would survive making something as terrible as ME:Andromeda and they still got to make Veilguard on their way home so I feel nothing.
