According to @SeahawksForever, a source close to the team told him the #Seahawks and #Giants had conversations earlier in the offseason regarding a potential trade for DE Kayvon Thibodeaux, and Seattle's organization believed they'd be able to land the edge rusher for Day 3 draft compensation.

However, talks ended after New York asked for a Day 2 pick, which the #Seahawks were reportedly unwilling to give up.

The source reportedly believes there's still the possibility a deal is completed later in the summer if the #Giants current asking price is not met.
