Nerfing Pokémon for the sake of shaking up metas is completely fine but we cannot disingenuously think that these nerfs are also purely for meta balancing purposes.

It’s plain and simple: if you nerf some usable/meta Pokémon but not all usable/meta Pokémon, power creep only continues to grow and the meta shifts towards being unbalanced.

I’m okay with either result but let’s just call it what it is: some people will cry for nerfs for things they don’t personally enjoy facing and then cry about something different 3 months later.
