If Saskatchewan had any redeeming qualities that made it attractive for people to stay, perhaps they would. It not an argument about equity between the provinces, it’s all about the rapidly diminishing quality of life in Saskatchewan over the last 10years.
I see increasing numbers of farmers in Saskatchewan who retire, sell their land for staggering amounts of money, and then take that money built up in Saskatchewan over generations, and move to Alberta, to be closer to their grandkids. No such large-scale transfer of wealth happens from Alberta to Saskatchewan. Saskatchewan gives so much to support the growth and affluence of Alberta at a great cost. What has Alberta done for Saskatchewan?
