An updated fee structure for all new pairs is now live on @longdotxyz.

The new system runs automatically onchain, 24/7, making it far more effective than any manual intervention. In addition, no one can change the fee structure after launch.

We heard the community’s concerns regarding the original fee structure and accelerated this update.

First, creator fees should no longer raise concerns. We reduced them by 7x while still providing enough incentive for deployers to experiment with new launches.

What else?

We’ve added counter-dump protection. Whenever sells hit the pools, the protocol atomically executes a buy. The purchased tokens will initially be burned manually, with full automation coming later.

Protocol fees will also be used to deepen liquidity and establish stronger floors.

These optimizations also allowed us to reduce the total fee by approximately 15%.

We also are committed to strengthening V1 pairs and bringing them to an even higher level of robustness.

We will keep pushing the frontier and focusing on robust automated systems that reduce every possible central point of failure.
