@nitinmeshram_ Tesla was founded in 2003 by Eberhard and Tarpenning. Musk joined in 2004. SolarCity was founded by his cousins and acquired by Tesla in 2016. Meanwhile, Reliance built the worlds largest refining complex at Jamnagar. Facts are less exciting than billionaire worship, apparently.
@nitinmeshram_ So your definition of innovation is personal net worth? By that logic, every billionaire is a genius and every scientist is a failure. You listed companies Musk invested in or acquired as if he personally invented everything. Fanboy mathematics is truly a fascinating field.
@vanshyadav1408 Your hotel had bad Wi-Fi, you missed a few calls, and suddenly Elon is the saviour of 500 Indian villages. You even decided his pricing for him. Incredible. One failed business trip and you’ve become a satellite economist, rural development expert and SpaceX spokesperson.
@XFreeze 477,491 schools without connectivity does not mean 477,491 schools need Starlink. Where is the cost comparison with BharatNet, 4G/5G or other satellite providers? Connectivity is the goal, not a sales pitch for one billionaire. 💩logic
@theDDixit JioSpaceFiber uses SES satellites. Jio does not need to own or launch satellites to provide satellite broadband, just as telecom operators don’t need to manufacture their own towers. And a GMPCS licence is not operational clearance. Perhaps learn the business model before mocking
@Kanthaswam80359 Starlink controls its satellites, routing, software and network operations. That raises risks of metadata exposure, foreign control & remote shutdowns. In a national crisis, who controls the kill switch? India or Musk? This is national security, not blind loyalty to a billionaire
@Kanthaswam80359 So you finally understand the difference between owning a business and depending on foreign technology? Good. Now apply that same logic to Indian teleco infrastructure. Using American chips or software does not make India a tenant of America. You just demolished your own argument
@Kanthaswam80359 Hey Brown Sepoy, Hey, your own numbers show India has the cheapest data relative to income. Comparing 50GB prices with national average speeds proves nothing without matching the service type. At least understand your own statistics before lecturing.
@parmita Comparing the internet to a privately controlled satellite network is absurd. And since when does interception guarantee security? Routing, control and compliance matter too. Signing safeguards is not proof they work. Maybe understand the basics before dismissing valid concerns.
@Kanthaswam80359@LeGrave009 Out of the entire fucking world, your masters chose an Indian Gujju to revive their dead refinery. Why? Surely they could have found someone better than a Dhokla maker, right? Funny how the same guy becomes an industrial genius when they need his billions.
@nitinmeshram_ Elon Musk is apparently a corporator from Dombivli West? 🤦🏻♂️
What the hell does holding elected office have to do with a company lobbying for its business interests? Ambani can lobby, Musk can lobby, but neither gets to dictate Indian telecom policy.
@ianmiles Habibi, licence is not a security clearance, and promises are not proof of compliance. India will decide when its critical infrastructure is ready, not Musk or his cheerleaders sitting abroad.
@rahulsood@SpaceX What the fuck is this saviour complex? Indians need Starlink but apparently are too stupid to know it? Musk sells a commercial service, not charity. The same man joked about coups. India can decide what infrastructure it needs without lectures from billionaire worshippers.
@yatharthmann Then prove me wrong instead of talking shit. Explain indoor dead zones, shared satellite capacity and your zero cost nonsense. So far, all you have done is dodge every technical question while blindly defending your master. That is not knowledge, just fanboy behaviour.
@yatharthmann Capable of what? Nobody disputed DTC compatibility. The argument was about dead zones, signal obstruction, shared capacity and your ridiculous zero-cost claim. Stop dodging the actual questions while lecturing on telecom. You’re only exposing how little you understand yourself.
@Kanthaswam80359 By that logic, importing networking equipment makes telecom networks “just towers.” Since when does buying inputs mean you don’t own the infrastructure or create value?
@nitinmeshram_ And you think Americans are electing saints? Billionaires funding elections, corporate lobbying, gerrymandering… but somehow it’s only Indians who don’t understand democracy?
