Now I’m certain that the mysterious blind test model under the alias Mantis, which recently blew me away on @Designarena, was none other than Ideogram 4.

Okay, Ideogram 4.0 is the first model that actually knows how to render imperfections naturally and beautifully. For comparison, just look at how Seedream 4.5 handles it.
Not sure why it's ignoring my camera angle, focus, and colors, maybe its prompting style is just different. However, I now see Ideogram’s immense potential for photorealism. Just look at how natural and organic this level of detailing is! 😮

@recraftai Yeah, Recraft is incredibly good at the expert execution of color and tonal blending. It got a bit creative with the focus, but actually looks better that way.
@ballistic_coda Yeah, it can draw beautiful women, but that's hardly an achievement these days. 😀 Okay, I'll admit Ideogram does velvet better, never liked how Grok handles velvet anyway. 😜

Using this to test the new Ideogram. With a simple descriptive prompt, it's not really impressing yet: neither with its textures, composition, nor its overall grasp of the requested aesthetic.
